Music in the Garden
Sunday, June 26, 2016 2:00-4:00pm
LAKE FOREST – The Lake Forest Symphony (LFS) hosted its annual fundraiser, Music in the Garden, on the afternoon of Sunday, June 26, 2016. The event was held at a magnificent lakeside Italian villa in Lake Forest built by David Adler in 1916. Guests were able to stroll the venue to admire the Tuscan architecture and scenic views of Lake Michigan. VIP guests were given tours of the private residence following performances by musicians of the Lake Forest Symphony, Midwest Young Artists Conservatory, and dancers from the North Shore School of Dance. LFS music director Vladimir Kulenovic spoke to guests about the upcoming subscription season and the expansion of education and community engagement concerts. Funds raised will be used towards ongoing operations at the Lake Forest Symphony.
The Lake Forest Symphony would like to thank the more than 200 guests, sponsors, and donors who helped us raise $21,000 to support the Symphony's mission.
