Cellist Jay Campbell performs Haydn's first cello concerto, a cornerstone of the repertoire since its mid-20th century discovery. Maestro Kulenovic continues two of his current symphonic cycles with Beethoven's Second and Haydn's Fourth.

Hailed as "precise and passionate" (Edmonton Journal), young Canadian pianist Ian Parker highlights the closing concert of the 60th anniversary season. The all-Brahms program features the composer's First Piano Concerto and the conclusion of Maestro Kulenovic's Brahms cycle with the Fourth Symphony.

The Lake Forest Symphony invites its Composer-in-Residence James Stephenson to the stage to open the 60th anniversary season by conducting his powerful chamber work there are no words. Special guest violinist Angelo Yu champions Mendelssohn's popular Violin Concerto, and the orchestra closes its opening concert with Dvořák's America-inspired New World Symphony.
