Listen and Learn

98.7 WFMT and the Lake Forest Symphony  are pleased to present our groundbreaking radio documentary "The Search."

This segment of "The Search" provides both an in depth portrait of five guest conductors and music director candidates, as well as an exploration of our search process.  As this process heavily involves our Lake Forest Symphony family, many of our audience members, musicians and board members are also featured in these exiting programs!

Musical excerpts illustrate the phenomenal artistry and passion of our musicians.  You will find that the documentary expertly captures the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding this unique search year.

Thank you for listening! Special thanks to Dick Morehead, Jay Owen, Job Youshaei, Ray Frick, Henry Fogel, Susan Lape, Vladimir Kulenovic and our friends at WFMT Steve Robinson, Tony Macaluso and producer Mary Mazurek for their hard work on this first broadcast!
